         technically co-sponsored by  IEICE-CS, EUREL, ISOC, OVE, HTE,
                                                   SEP, TCN and VDE
   Date:  29 May - 1 June
   Place: Bordeaux in France

ICIN 2006 is seeking papers on a wide range of topics related to our theme of
"Convergence in Services, Media and Networks" and we are interested
in submissions that cover all aspects of this topic. In particular we are keen to
cover the intelligent service layer of the converged communications platform
including the terminal control and interaction and home gateways, network
infrastructure, the network applications, the service architecture and the
business environment in which we operate. This year we have introduced a new
topic and we are interested in submissions that deal with the impact of converged,
multimedia services on Operational Support Systems (OSS). While we recognize
that other conferences specialise in this subject it is becoming clear that new
operating principles, such as self provisioning via the web, real time pricing and
billing, on demand bandwidth etc, are driving Intelligence and OSS closer together
 with performance, resilience. This enables much leaner service providers.
As a result we would like contributions on the following topics:

ICIN2006 is seeking papers on a wide range of topics:

      -  Impact of Terminals and Home Gateways on the Intelligent Service Layer
      -  Real Time OSS
      -  Networking, Terminal and User Security in Next Generation Networks
      -  Business Model, Market Drivers and Regulation
