CALL FOR PAPERS
2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Visible Light Communications 
2018 (ICEVLC2018), presented by Visible Light Communications Association (VLCA) 
in Japan, will be held at Hiyoshi campus of Keio University, Yokohama, Japan. 
The conference offers a unique opportunity for researchers and developers 
from academia and industry to share ideas about visible light communications.


TOPICS
- VLC transceiver design and optimization
- VLC link duplexing and multiple access techniques
- Modulation, coding and detection for VLC
- VLC using image sensor (Image sensor communication) l Underwater VLC
- Location services using VLC
- VLC wireless sensor networks
- Optical wireless communications in 5G networks
- Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure VLC
- VLC for Internet of things (IoT)
- VLC for home/office/factory networks


PAPER SUBMISSION
Both review versions of submitted papers and camera-ready versions of accepted 
papers should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) 
printed double-column pages (10-point font) including figures. All papers for 
the conference should be submitted via EDAS.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ICEVLC 2018 Conference 
Proceedings and put on the home page of VLCA (http://vlca.net/) under a 
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Noderivatives 4.0 International 
(CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
This means that the work must be attributed to the author (BY clause), 
no one can use the work commercially (NC clause), and the work cannot be 
modified by anyone who re-uses it (ND clause).


IMPORTANT DATES
- Paper deadline: October 15, 2017
- Author acceptance notification: November 15, 2017
- Camera-ready paper submission deadline: December 15, 2017
