The Internet is also becoming the engine and the platform of choice for a diverse range of applications and businesses. Additionally, driven by market demands, the Internet is required to be ubiquitous and pervasive; accessible and usable from any device and through any network, including wireless and mobile. The Symposium on Applications and the Internet focuses on emerging and future Internet applications and their enabling technologies. The symposium provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from the academic, industrial, and public sectors, to share their latest innovations on Internet technologies and applications.
