\nA survey of USA National Wireless Mid Scale Research Infrastructure for Research and Experimentation
\nAbstract:
\n*This talk details the platforms and testbeds in the wireless ecosystem that are available as a tool for students and academics to advance and implement their research. We will detail the three Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) program platforms; COSMOS, POWDER, and AERPAW; their architecture, experimental workflow model as well as hardware and software elements. We will also detail the Colosseum; a massive 256-by-256-channel radio frequency (RF) emulator supported with 256 programmable software defined radios, capable of emulating full-stack communications with abundant computational capabilities, ability to implement Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms and hardware in the loop.<\/p>\n

\nCOSMOS as a Testbed for Virtualized Networks from Fiber to the Mobile Edge Cloud
\nAbstract:
\nThe COSMOS testbed is a unique open experimentation platform deployed across upper Manhattan in New York City. The platform is designed to support experimentation on network virtualization and control from the optical network up through the edge cloud computing and radio infrastructure. We\u2019ll describe the COSMOS architecture and how it can be used to support research on important questions around network virtualization.<\/p>\n

\nAn Overview of OpenAirInterface and EURECOM’s 5G Experimental Facility
\nAbstract:
\nIn this talk we provide an overview of the activities and structure of the OpenAirInterface Software Alliance. In particular we will cover the current areas being developed by the community along with the means for testing based on continuous integration and continuous deployment. We will then cover the architecture of the 5G experimental facility at EURECOM which is based on a kubernetes framework comprising fully containerized radio-access and Core Network functions.<\/p>\n

\nWe have been developing StarBED as a general purpose network testbed for emulating the Internet since 2002 to evaluate several network technologies and network itself, Now we are trying to evolve StarBED into an IoT testbed based on its versatility.
