 The 4th Advanced Satellite Mobile Systems conference is organized by the University of Bologna and the Institute for Communications and Navigation of DLR on behalf of the ISI (Integral SatCom Initiative) European Technology Platform and in cooperation with the Satellite Communications Network of Excellence (SatNEx).
 Building on the previous successful ASMS events, this conference has now become a paramount opportunity for industry and research institutions to get the latest updates and to exchange information about recent advances and emerging technologies for mobile, broadband and broadcast satellite communication systems.

Conference Venue
 The conference will be held at the Hotel Savoia Regency in Bologna, Italy. Bologna, the hometown of Guglielmo Marconi, is the regional capital of Emilia Romagna, lying midway between Venice and Florence and at a close distance to Ferrarifs headquarters in Maranello. Bologna preserves traces of its past culture and the imprinting of Italian medieval magnificence. World famous for its cuisine and its two towers Asinelli and Garisenda, Bologna is animated by a cosmopolitan culture nurtured by its University, founded in 1088 and oldest in the Western World, which gained the city its name of Bologna la Dotta (the learned town).
