In the 5G standardization, key enabling
\ntechnologies such as massive MIMO, beamforming, radio access technology,
\nand frame
\ndesigns are specified, and related advanced technologies are still being
\ndeveloped.
\nMeanwhile, new technology concepts for the next generation mobile
\ncommunications
\nincluding 5G advanced and 6G are about to be investigated in many
\nresearch entities. On
\ntop of that, research and development activities of key technologies for
\nnext generation
\nmobile communications are about to be initiated. In these regards, this
\nspecial section is
\naiming to provide opportunities to present the latest technologies and the
\nproof-of-concept activities for next generation mobile communications.<\/p>\n
– Scope
\nThis special section aims at timely dissemination of research in the
\nfollowing areas.
