Many countries nowadays are facing a serious social problem of aging
population structure. The medical care problems that accompany theaged population will aggravate the burden of national healthinsurance. Recently, self health care at home becomes one of theblooming research topics. Most health care budget is allocated tomedical cure to heal the sick in current health insurance system. Dueto the continuing increase in medical care expense, it is time to alsoconsider the importance of daily health maintenance, accidentprevention as well as mental care so that senior citizens can have achance to better enjoy the beauty of a longer life span.Conventional health care systems assumed that elderly people have nophysical and social activities. Even worse, they are designed for sickelderly. It is worthy to emphasize the issues such as how to assistthe elderly to live in a healthy state while being comfortable andhappy. This talk will address intelligent systems for elderly selfhealth care on smart phones. Some effective methods and modules are
proposed to resolve the critical issues involving falling detection,
loneliness prevention, and the retard of obliviousness.
