この度は総務理事候補として推薦を賜り、誠に光栄の至りと存じます。昨今のコロナ禍によって社会は歴史的な変革を余儀なくされ、半導体需要が急速に高まり、SNS等で情報が活発に発信され、そしてリモートワークが生活スタイルを一変させました。これらの全てに関わる業界横断のキーワードがまさに「電子情報通信」であり、私達が抱える会員数増加や財務改善という課題を解く契機の訪れを感じています。具体的には、自らの位置付けを明確化すると共に相手の強みを尊重し、他学会との共栄を図ることが大切になるでしょう。世界規模の社会団結が日々注目を集める今の時期こそ、ディジタル化とグローバル化の波に乗り、主張と傾聴を以て我々の居場所を再定義する絶好のタイミングです。加えて自組織の運営形態を見つめ直し、合理化とコミュニケーションに注力すれば、未来を担う若手の参入は自ずと増えていくと思います。これまでの人脈を活かして皆様のお力添えを頂きながら、信学会の永続的な発展に貢献できれば幸いです。よろしくお願い申し上げます。
1996年慶応義塾大学環境情報学部卒業、1998年同大学院政策・メディア研究科修士課程修了、2001年同大学院博士課程修了。2002年より米国ライトパターソン空軍研究所及びシンシナティ大学にてエバネセントマイクロ波検査の研究に従事。2004年、日本電信電話株式会社にキャリア採用され土木点検技術の開発を開始。現在、NTTデバイスイノベーションセンタのプロジェクトマネージャとしてインフラ及びウェアラブル機器の研究開発を推進。
I am honored to have been nominated as a candidate for Director of General Affairs. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought about inevitable and unprecedented changes in society, such as the sharp increase in demand for semiconductors, the active transmission of information through social media, and remote work completely changing our lifestyles. The universal keywords that traverse all these changes are our "electronics, information, and communication." I believe that the opportunity has come for us to address the various issues including the number of members and our finances. It will be important for us to clarify our position while respecting the strengths of others and promote mutual progress with other academic societies. The worldwide unification of society has been gaining wide attention, and now is the perfect time to ride the wave of digitalization and globalization. Then, we should redefine our position by asserting ourselves and listening to opinions of others. I also believe that if we reconsider the current way of operating organization and focus on rationalization and communication, the participation of young members, who are the future leaders, will naturally increase. I hope to contribute to the continued development of IEICE with my existing network of contacts and through the support of everyone. I sincerely look forward to your cooperation.
He received a B.E. in environmental information and an M.E. and Ph.D. in media and governance from Keio University, Japan, in 1996, 1998, and 2001. From 2002 to 2003, he was engaged in research of evanescent microwave inspection at Wright Patterson Air Force Research Laboratories and the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA. Since joining NTT in 2004, he started development of civil engineering technologies. He is now a general manager at NTT Device Innovation Center, where he is responsible for R&D management of infrastructural and wearable devices.
