Young Scientist Award:
Young Scientist Award (YSA) program is planned for promoting participation of young researchers or students.
Young Scientist Award (YSA) will be awarded in ICSANE 2019 to several distinguished young scientists/engineers who satisfy all the conditions stated below.
- (1) Be 35 years old or younger on October 31 2019.
- (2) Be the principal (i.e., first) author of the paper.
- (3) Submitted the camera-ready paper by specific deadline.
- (4) Present the paper at the confference.
Notation:
The YSA applicants must provide copies of their valid formal documents to show the date of birth at the conference registration desk (passport, driver’s license, etc. passports are preferable), and are expected to participate fully in the scientific activities of the Conference, especially for banquet.
Student Expense Grants:
Student Expense Grants has been established to totally or partially support travel to attend ICSANE. The requirements of grant application are the following.
- (1) University or graduate university students, who live one of the countries/areas in Asia (except Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, and Japan), Africa, Central America, and South America, corresponding to the countries/areas designated in Overseas Membership Development Program (OMDP) provided by IEICE.
- (2) Presenters of oral or poster presentations.
- (3) Students who are difficult to attend ICSANE because of insufficient funding, in spite of achieving sufficient research results.
- (4) The supervisors of the students must approve grant applications. The signature of the supervisor is required in an application form that can be downloaded from the ICSANE web site.
Note:
The deadline of the grant application with the camera-ready papers is a month before the deadline of application for presentations.
