Information for Authors

Prepare Camera-Ready Paper

Camera-Ready papers should be in IEEE Format for Conference Proceedings, A4 size, double column, minimum 10-pt fonts and up to 6 pages. (Detailed format specifications are found in the following samples.)

Camre-ready format has changed to include the IEICE copyright notice in the top-left corner of the paper. Please use the new sample files. (Dec. 1, 2007)

For LaTeX users who have already made their camera-ready paper using bare_conf.tex, please modify them as indicated here.

PDF versions of the papers are supposed to be compliant with the PDF specification for IEEE Xplore, because we are planning to upload compliant PDFs to IEEE Xplore (Uplodingthe PDF files to IEEE Xplore is to be determined). Simplified Requirements for Creating PDF Files for IEEE Xplore can be found here. -->

Create PDF Versions of Your Papers Using IEEE PDF eXpress

IEEE PDF eXpress service for APSITT2008 is now available. (Dec. 12, 2007)

Only PDF file is accepted for camera-ready submission. The PDF file will be later uploaded to IEEE Xplore, in condition that it meets the
PDF Specification for IEEE Xplore. To create an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF or to verify that your own-created PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compliant, the APSITT 2008 committee strongly recommend the use of IEEE PDF eXpress service. IEEE PDF eXpress service can be used as the following three steps:
  1. Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site
  2. Submit your PDF file (for checking) or source files (for conversion). For conversion, following formats are acceptable as source files:
  3. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached.
