International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology

LOCATION IWAIT
will take place at Nagasaki University, located in Nagasaki City, which is the capital of
Nagasaki Prefecture. The City lies astride
a deep bay surrounded by mountains,
and is called the "Naples of the Orient" because of its
good harbor and characteristic location.
Shipbuilding is the major industry
while the City enjoys flourishing tourism and serves as a
base for deep sea fishing.
PURPOSE The International
Workshop on Advanced Image Technology, IWAIT, is to provide a contact and
discussion venue for research scientists, engineers and those who are
interested in the field of advanced image technology and multimedia systems.
