Technical Committee on Ad Hoc Networks

The technology element of an ad hoc network reaches over a wide area such as hardware technology for power-saving; device technology; a low layer to handle radio propagation; a routing protocol; application layers for a) ubiquitous information infrastructure, b) ITS, and c) geographical information systems; and crosses between these areas. In this committee, many associated researchers discuss these ad hoc network-related technology elements intensively and organically from a wide point of view, as well as offer a place for discussion and presentation of results of studies to accelerate study development while feeding it back to standardization activities and industry requirements.
