Special Session "Elevator Control Systems"

This session proposal calls for papers on elevator group control systems. Group control has been receiving increasing attention these days. In addition to existing solutions, new solutions must be developed to new elevator systems such as double-deck elevators and multi-car elevators from various research fields such as scheduling, concurrent technology, optimization, and soft computing. This session will address the following issues:

Special Session "Hard-Disk Drive Technology"

This session proposal calls for papers on Hard-Disk Drive Technology. Hard-Disk Drive contains several technologies; electronics, communication, information, material etc. Results of simulation and experiment related to Hard-Disk Drive Technology are encouraged to submit. Special Session "e-Learning Utilization in Education "

This session will have discussions of the e-learning or ICT utilization in education with the expert opinions from various fields in system design, methodology, assessment and so on. The educational use of e-learning or ICT has changed the learning environment significantly. This change is not just the location (school), time and student. The e-learning has enhanced learning opportunities in "anytime, anywhere, anyone", and is also expected to be lifelong learning. This session is expected to discuss the hopes, outcomes and future problems for traditional and new teaching methods. This session will address the following issues:
