In a modern society, safety is required when exchanging information. In order to secure its safety, we are taking measures to prevent various information leaked to others by using encryption technology. My laboratory is developing block ciphers using nonlinear feedback shift register (NFSR). The nonlinear feedback shift register is one of pseudo random number generators composed of D flip - flops and combinational logic circuits. Today, we investigate the improvement of the security of the 64 - bit block cipher system constructed by connecting eight 8 - stage NFSRs in a ring. |
