In the fifth generation mobile communications system (5G), wireless connections among lots of Internet of things (IoT) devices will be accommodated in the massive machine type communications (mMTC) scenario. As a realizing technology for 5G mMTC, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) schemes have been proposed. We have proposed a grant-free sparse chaos code multiple access (GF-SCCMA) exploiting the principle of chaos communications for mMTC. It realizes both physical layer security and large-capacity transmission. We also proposed a large-scaled GF-SCCMA by applying a low-complexity Gaussian belief propagation (GaBP) scheme in decoding. However, the performance of GF-SCCMA with GaBP is not always superior to conventional NOMA schemes with GaBP. Therefore, in this study, we propose a turbo-code concatenated GF-SCCMA with GaBP to improve the decoding performance, and show the better performances through numerical simulations. |
