Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In a mobile communication environment, OFDM transmission system using signal decomposition and spatial composition, in which multiple phase modulated waves are transmitted and composed in space to obtain a desired OFDM signal point. However, signal distortion due to low-amplitude amplification to improve available rate and the out-of-band radiation power suppression causes the deterioration of BER characteristic in the method. Thus, we propose an improvement method in which a residual component is added to decomposed signals in order to eliminate the distortion. As a result of evaluation of probability density distribution of amplitude, PAPR, out-of-band radiation power, and BER performance by computer simulation, the effectiveness of the improved method was clarified.
