Equilibrium Point Analysis of a Truly Decentralized Discrete-Time Algorithm for Algebraic Connectivity Estimation

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The second smallest eigenvalue of the Laplacian matrix of a network, also known as the algebraic connectivity, is an index representing how well the network is connected. Recently, the authors of this report proposed a truly decentralized algorithm for agents in a network to estimate the algebraic connectivity, and confirmed the validity through numerical experiments. In this report, we derive all equilibrium points of the algorithm and analyze the local stability of each equilibrium point theoretically.
