Channel bonding is a technique to improve transmission rate by bonding multiple channels. Recently, the number of devices using wireless LAN have been increased rapidly. As a result, degradation of communication performance will frequently occur due to channel duplication. Dynamic Channel Bonding(DCB), which is one of the avoidance method for channel duplication, will be mainstream because DCB implements efficient channel utilization. There is no literature investigating DCB in detail because not only the commercial products but also simulators incompletely implement DCB. In our previous study, although we examined the DCB performance of 2ch*20MHz through queuing theory, the performance gap still remained due to the incomplete queing model. Therefore, in this paper, we extend the model to get more accurate results (i.e., close to the theoretical upper limits).Through simulations, we evaluate the performance of DCB considering partial channel collision. Finally, we can see that DCB is a useful technique even if severe partial channel collision happens. |
