Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Collection of vital data regarding patients’ general conditions and behavioral patterns, as well as doctor/patient feedback and identification of disease-trends linked to regional differences are all indispensable components of telemedicine, and subsequent rehabilitation strategies. No less important are notations concerning subjects’ regional environment, geographical location/elevation above sea level and daily activity patterns. In compiling this report, we also enhanced the image with a 3-D component to the Web GIS map used for rehabilitation support, and implemented a messaging function within the Web-GIS.
