[Invited Lecture] Applying Meta-surface Reflector to 2×2 Short Range MIMO

(in English) Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is an antenna technology for large capacity wireless communications. MIMO exhibits the ability in a multipath environment. However, in a short-range (SR) communication, the direct wave is dominant. Therefore, the channel capacity deterioration is occurred by the antennas placement. This paper proposes applying a meta-surface reflector to SR-MIMO, and these improvements of channel capacity are evaluated. In addition, the possibility is verified by the method of moment.
