Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, studies on the 5th generation mobile communication system (5G) are under way, and massive MIMO technology that improves the communication speed by the increasing of antenna elements in base station has been focused. Conventionally, in multi-user MIMO, various user scheduling methods have been proposed and validated in view of the communication quality realized between the base station and the selected users and the calculation amount required for user selection. However, in massive MIMO, the effect of applying these scheduling methods is not sufficiently clarified. In this report, we consider the user scheduling which is based on the channel capacity maximization focused on the relationship of the channels between the users, which is one of the typical scheduling methods, to massive MIMO. We obtain the propagation channel by ray-trace assuming the environment in a street-cell and line-of-sight, calculate the channel capacity when applying the scheduling method based on the channel capacity maximization and the users have been stationary, and perform the evaluation.
