Broadband Attenuation Characteristic of the Quasi-distributed Constant Line Filter Connected in Series

(in English) A noise suppression device which has broadband attenuation characteristic is required because a broadband noise emission from a power conversion circuit is concerned as its switching speed is increasing. In this paper, we report common-mode attenuation characteristic of quasi-distributed constant line filter connected in series which have grounding terminal and broadband attenuation characteristic. Increase amount of common-mode attenuation characteristic by grounding of grounding terminal is about 47 dB at 10 MHz when two device are connected in series. This result is much larger than 20 dB for a single device. An equivalent circuit analysis by using parameters peculiar to quasi-distributed constant line filter agreed well with a measurement result.
