The explosive dynamics in on-line social networks represented by flaming phenomena can have a serious impact not only on the sustainable operation of information networks but also on activities in the real world. In order to establish countermeasure technology for the flaming phenomena, it is necessary to understand generating mechanisms of the flaming phenomena with an engineering framework. This paper discusses a new model of the generation mechanism for the flaming phenomena. Our previous study has shown that the cause of flaming phenomena can be understood by complex eigenvalues of the matrix which describes oscillating phenomena, based on the oscillation model on networks. In this paper, we show that the flaming phenomena may occur due to coupling between degenerated oscillation modes even if the eigenvalues are real numbers. |
