Services employing the Internet of Things (IoT) have received a lot of attention with the progress of wireless communication technology. Although mobile fronthaul/backhaul is usually constructed as a proprietary system in mobile networks, it is expected that layer-2 network accommodates the various requirements of services. In this study, we report the simultaneous connectivity and low-latency layer-2 transmission of massive IoT terminals to realize the layer-2 network towards 5G/IoT era. |
