Path Loss Frequency Dependency of 2-66 GHz in an Urban Macro Cell Environment

(in English) This paper presents a frequency dependency of path loss in an urban macro (UMa) cell environment on the basis of the measurement campaign using four frequencies between 2 and 66 GHz. In the case of 3GPP UMa model above 6 GHz band, the frequency dependency is shown by 20log(f). The measurement results in LoS area show that the frequency dependency is similar to 3GPP model. But that in NLoS area differs and the results show 23log(f). The large frequency dependency in NLoS area can be seen especially in the area where the path loss becomes large such as in large distance area. In addition, it is also shown that it is caused by the dominant path in far area become the diffraction path from the building top which has large frequency dependency.
