Feasibility of a 60GHz-band Semi-rigid Cable Monopole Antenna for Inserting into an Oscillator Chip

(in English) This paper proposes the structure inserted a semi-rigid cable monopole antenna into a 60GHz band oscillator chip. We discuss feasibility a 9.7GHz-band scale-up model of a monopole antenna into a hole of a dielectric substrate. The reflection bandwidth below -10dB is 20% achieved by using a matching stub, and the radiation patterns have good agreement between the design and the measurement. A 60GHz band model is similarly designed. We achieve the reflection bandwidth below -10dB of 23% and good agreement in the radiation patterns as well.
