This paper proposes a 3D reconstruction method for US images using an ultrasound (US) probe and camera system. Calibration between an US probe and a camera is reuqired to obtain an accurate 3D US volume. Our approach of probe-camera calibration uses a simple apparatus. Through a set of experiments, we demonstrate that the proposed method can reconstruct 3D US volume using the US probe-camera system. |
