Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we first investigated that the reward results in the previous trial affected both the rats’ action time which we regarded as its motivation and the firing rates of the nucleus accumbens (NA) and ventral pallidum (VP) cells in the current trial. Next using the mediation analysis, we verified the indrect effects of those firing rates of the NA and VP on the rats’ action time.
