A Design Method of a Filter on a Low Profile Multiband Monopole Antenna

(in English) Low frequencies antennas take high cost for fabrication and construction due to large size. Top-loaded monopole antennas are widely known as low profile antennas. However, mismatching loss increases on multiband because operation bandwidth of these antennas is narrow. The authors have reduced the loss by loading a switch to achieve multiband in a top-loaded monopole antenna. In this report, we propose a passive filter loaded multiband monopole without a switch. A design method of the filter is demonstrated by using both electromagnetic field simulator and circuit simulator. Additionally, an advantage of the proposed antenna is indicated as compared with a conventional antenna.
