Polarization Converter by bowtie shaped Meta-surface.

(in English) In this paper, a new meta-surface to convert polarization is proposed. On a simulation using finite period condition, it was confirmed that reflected wave in the same polarization plane as the incident wave is reduced by 20 dB in about 15% at 8 GHz. In the actual measurement, it was confirmed that the reflected waved is reduced by about 13 dB. Next, focusing on the fact that the phase of the reflected wave is shifted by 90°, we have confirmed that circular polarization can be generated by an incident linearly polarized wave with a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 45% at 6 GHz.
