Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Wheelchair users are difficult to move because steps and slopes are obstacles. It is necessary to solve this problem. We propose system "barrier map". It attaches a smartphone to the wheelchair and measures the step and slope of the road using the sensor mounted on the smartphone. Then, this system propose an optimal route using that information. In this paper, we examine the neuro technology used for the route suggestion system of "barrier map". Specifically, we investigate the extent of processing power and current computing capabilities of smartphones.
