Fault Analysis for Midori

(in English) Lightweight block ciphers, which can be utilized in low power and small area, have attracted attention in the security of IoT devices. On the other hand, the risk of fault analysis for a cryptographic circuit has been reported. To guarantee the security of IoT devices in the future, the verification of tamper resistance of Midori against fault analysis is very important. However, fault analysis for Midori has not been reported. Therefore, this study proposes a new fault analysis for Midori. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed method and the vulnerability of Midori against fault analysis.
