Structure of Antenna Using Parasitic Element Achieving Wideband Self-Interference Cancellation

(in English) In single channel wireless full-duplex communication, self-interference (SI) is caused because radio waves from a transmitting antenna of a communication terminal reach a receiving antenna on the same terminal.
In this study, we propose a new antenna structure using parasitic elements, which has high SI cancellation and directional radiation pattern.
By the simulation result, the proposed antenna structure using five parasitic elements achieves more than 50 dB cancellation at ratio-band of approximately 4.52 %.
The experimental result shows that the frequency trend in the amount of SI cancellation is similar to that of simulation.
