Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We numerically conduct a detailed study on nonlinear dynamics of large-scale turbulent fire by using symbolic dynamics and complex network. We apply two significant analyses to temporal evolutions of temperature fluctuations: one is the Multiscale Complexity-Entropy Causality Plane involving a scale-dependent approach, and the other is the network entropy in horizontal visibility graph. The dynamic behavior of temperature fluctuations becomes much more complicated at a downstream location where well-developed turbulent flow field is formed, showing the possible presence of high-dimensional chaos.
