Acquisition Method of Median Level Variation Based on Variation Mechanism in Mobile Communications with Low Base Station Antenna Height

(in English) This report shows an acquisition method of a median variation in consideration of a variation mechanism. The method was expanded the analysis method of a received level using a wavelet transformation suggested in a macrocell with a high base station antenna height into a microcell with a low base station height. To acquire the median variation based on the variation mechanism, it is important to ascertain wavelet levels in a multi-resolution analysis included the median variation. Then, it was shown that the ascertainment became easy by performing the multi-resolution analysis of the received level variation expected an earth reflection in a ray-tracing. As a result, the standard deviation of the median variation was smaller up to 0.8 dB, and the correlation distance that the distance when an autocorrelation was 0.5 was larger about 6 m than conventional results.
