Previous researches about Correlation Power Analysis (CPA) have been presupposed to use a trigger signal to measure side-channel information generated by the operation for performing the attack. However, an attacker is usually unable to use such a trigger signal. Therefore, an adversary is required to distinguish the target operation from the entire measured waveforms. In this paper, we propose a method how to estimate the timing of the target operation under asynchronous measurement circumstances. |
