[Tutorial Lecture] Introduction of Sparse Signal Representation for Radars and Array Signal Processing
Hiroyoshi Yamada, Suguru Ohtashi, Yoshio Yamaguchi (Niigata Univ.) AP2016-23
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This report provides an introductory text of concepts and several representative algorithms for sparse signal reconstruction especially for young researchers who want to apply the techniques to his/her array signal processing problems in radars and electromagnetic applications.
The selected algorithms in this report are the ISTA and OMP as basic algorithms in the thresholding algorithms and greedy method, respectively. The sparse signal reconstruction and compressed sensing are the powerful tools for many array signal processing applications because of flexibility of their algorithm. Further progress of the sparse signal reconstruction and compressed sensing in fields of radar and radio applications will be expected.
