In recent years, radio sensors and radars have been studied intensively. Especially, the indoor location estimation for security or man-location monitoring are receiving a lot of attention. One of the problems in such systems is frequency allocation due to increasing radio stations for mobile phones and faster wireless communication. This is the reason why passive radar systems gather a lot of attention. The systems are available without interference problems with existing radio systems. In this study, we have proposed a parasitic radar system which utilizes relative near field sources such as a Wi-Fi access point. Experimental study on the parasitic radar using a Wi-Fi access point for indoor human detection is provided in this report. |
