| 抄録 | （和） | 本研究では, 子どもがどのような項情報を利用して動作主-被動者を標示する格助詞を学習するのか について検討した. 4,5,6,7歳児を対象に, 動作主-被動者標示の人工格助詞ポ, ビを一項文と二項文で呈示し, どちらがポとビの学習に有効なのかを文理解実験で調べた. 結果, ポの学習には二項文, ビには一項文が有効である可能性があることが示唆された. また, 年齢によって項情報の利用に違いも見られ, 学習に適した項情報が利用されていることが推察された. |
| （英） | This study investigated how Japanese children develop the usage of the argument structure when they learn artificial case markers “po” and “bi”. These respectively refer to the agent and patient of the action in the sentences. Previous research reported English speaking two-year-olds utilize the argument structure, especially the number of the arguments to learn verbs (Arunachalam and Waxman, 2010). However, it is still unclear if Japanese children utilize the number of the arguments to learn case markers, and if utilization of the arguments are different among ages. The present study examined how and what age children can utilize the argument structure to learn “po” and “bi”. In order to investigate these points, we introduced “po” and “bi” to children (4yrs, 5yrs, 6yrs, 7yrs). One group of children was introduced to two argument sentence (SOV: “rabbit po bear bi pushed”) and the other group to one argument sentence (SV: “rabbit po pushed”, OV: “bear bi pushed”). In the test phase, we tested “po” and “bi” using four different types of sentences: SOV, OSV, SV, and OV. Results showed five-year and seven-year old children did not use the two arguments to learn case markers, especially the patient marker. Rather, they used the one argument to learn the patient marker. However, four-year and six-year olds did not utilize the two arguments or one argument in learning “po” and “bi”. These results suggest children utilize the one argument to learn the patient marker, and the utilization of the argument structure are different among ages. |
