Preriminaly experiment on position estimation of transmitting antenna by using ZigBee

(in English) In order to experimentally evaluate the position estimation of the catheter by using the unbalanced fed ultra low profile inverted L antennas, the RSSI of the receiver antenna is measured by using the ZigBee system. The operating frequency is 2.4 GHz band. RSSI is measured in the case of the distance between transmitting and receiving antennas is from 40mm to 1000mm. The measured RSSI agrees well with calculated result. As a result, it is confirmed that the simple position estimation using ZigBee is possible.
