Wideband printed inverted-F antenna for MIMO system

(in English) Authors have proposed a wideband printed inverted-F antenna. Although the frequency bandwidth of a conventional inverted-F antenna is approximately 10%, the proposed inverted-F antenna is wider than 100% by loading a rectangular element to the feeding element perpendicularly. Moreover, 2-elements MIMO system consisted by the proposed printed inverted-F antenna is investigated. Simulated correlation coefficient between two antennas of MIMO systems is less than 0.004 by loading a linear slit and L-shaped slits in the ground. Operational principles of the proposed inverted-F antenna and 2-elements MIMO system are clarified by the electric current distributions, input impedance and radiation pattern.
