Analysis of Shadow Fading in Mobile Radio -- Mechanism of Received Power with Log-normal Distribution --

(in English) The propagation variation in mobile radio can divide into three independent variations; instantaneous fading (Rayleigh fading), short-term fading (shadow fading) and long-term fading (propagation loss). It is well known that the distribution of shadow fading follows a Log-Normal distribution approximately. However there is less research of the mechanism why its distribution is close to the Log-Normal distribution. In this paper, we study about the mechanism that the distribution of shadow fading follows the Log-Normal distribution.
