A Calculation Formula of Propagation Path Loss for Vehicle to Vehicle Communications (V2V) in a Crank Road

(in English) In this paper, we propose a simple calculation formula of propagation loss in a crank road assuming V2V communication systems. In the formula, multiple dominant paths in a crank road environment are identified based on the ray-tracing technique. The received signal power is determined by combining the paths and the propagation loss is calculated. The estimation results of the formula are compared with those by the ray-tracing technique to evaluate the estimation accuracy of the proposed method.
