Configuration of Variable Reflection Angle Meta-surface using Double Layered Patch Type FSS

(in English) This paper proposes a variable reflection angle meta-surface using double layered patch type FSS (Frequency Selective Surface) which can change the scattering pattern easily by shifting the position of one layer. The ranges of the element sizes for the variable reflection angle are clarified. The method of the metal patches arrangement for the expansion of the effective aperture is shown. Through the design method, the reflection angle with range of about 5 deg. to 45 deg. is obtained.
