| (in English) | In the highly accurate radiation therapies of thoracic region, the tumor and organ motion greatly impacts on the result because they deliver localized irradiation and high dose. Thus, it is important to evaluate the tumor and organ motion due to respiration on treatment planning. This planning is performed by 4D-CT if it is available. However, 4D-CT exposes a high dose. The objective of this study is to generate 4D-CT image from 3D-CT image using motion information obtained from 4D-MR image. The proposed method consists of two processing: (1) making a relationship between CT and MR image coordinate systems by rigid registration, (2) acquisition of the motion information by non-rigid registration. We conducted a 4D-CT generation experiment with data of a lung cancer patient and confirmed that the generated 4D-CT image had natural movement and the reproducibility of tumor motion was about 90% in each direction. | |
