[Tutorial Lecture] Robot Service Development using UNR Platform
Koji Kamei (ATR) CNR2013-15
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Ubiquitous Network Robot Platform (UNR-PF) has been developed as a common infrastructure for robotic service to support activities of our daily life in multiple areas such as home, hospitals and shopping malls. By conducting trial experiments of life support services for elderly and handicapped people in multiple areas, requirements for robotic services and coordination of them have been revealed and the specifications of UNR technologies have been proposed as international standards. The first prototype implementation of the UNR-PF was released last year as open source software.
This presentation introduces the outline of the UNR Platform and explains the development process of robotic services by using its current implementation.
