Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) One can treat a stuff like a tennis racket and dram stick as if it is their own body. Cognitive science and neuroscience has elucidated the mechanism that one's embodiment can expansion to the tip of stuff. However it has not been investigated whether human's embodiment can expansion to an agent which can interact with human like a robot. In this paper, we focus on "tactile stimuli", which is one of the important cue for the expansion of embodiment, and we conducted an experiment with four subjects to clarify whether human's embodiment can expansion to a robot by sharing tactile stimuli the robot received. The experiment results show that three of four subjects' embodiments would be enhanced the expansion to the robot.
