Considerations on the Improvement of the Performance Characteristics for Circular Patch Antenna

(in English) This paper is related to the improvement of the gain of circular patch antenna. Here, we propose a new type of a thin layer antenna which is composed of a general circular patch antenna (CPA) and a circular metallic disk slightly bigger compared to CPA. Those are placed parallel and concentrically each other with a very small space. As the results, in spite of small space, this antenna has higher gain compared to general CPA by about 2dBi.
