| 抄録 | （和） | This paper focuses on active probing of end-to-end (E2E) network performance, specifically, available and/or bottleneck bandwidth. Current methods consider the effect of the network on probe packets a continuous function, that is, bigger packets get bigger effect. However, in reality the effect is often found to cluster mostly around the two extremes -- either no effect or a very large effect. This paper proposes to model measurement data as combination of extremes, thus, making it possible to find a relationship between signal complexity and network performance. |
