| (in English) | OGY and delayed-feedback methods proposed at the beginning of 1990s are well known as the original methods of controlling chaos. One of the authors et al. also proposed a method of controlling chaos using Poincar\'e map and linear control theory. All the methods can stabilize unstable periodic motions by making small perturbations of available system parameters. However, from the viewpoint of controlling energy needed to stabilize such motions, to evaluate the amount of required parameter perturbations has not been reported as far as the authors know. In this report, using three indices based on state variables, control input, and electric power (i.e. energy), we evaluated controlling costs to stabilize an unstable periodic motion observed in a continuous-time dynamical system such that the amount of parameter perturbations can be converted to electric power. | |
